AVOID THIS COMPANY. They were contracted to maintain the landscaping in the Falconbridge neighborhood in Chapel Hill, resulting in the neighborhood deteriorating to the worst condition in the neighborhood's 40+ years of existence. Despite being paid approximately $100K, they failed to even sow grass seed. What was once a green, pristine neighborhood is now covered in hundreds of bare spots of dirt where grass once stood. They send 2 people to mow/weedeat every 2-3 weeks if lucky. They never cover the whole neighborhood at once so there is always one half with foot tall grass resulting in snakes and ticks blanketing the neighborhood. They failed to put herbicide down so there are more weeds than grass in most areas. They do not trim bushes or remove brush. It is honestly impossible to imagine a worst contractor. They have single handedly destroyed one of Chapel Hill's most beautiful neighborhoods.

This company is not highly professional, they are in my neighborhood and I have asked several times to cut the small trees at the entrances of the houses and they have done nothing, there are animals and insects because they have let them grow too much. The grass barely makes the edges and leaves high that it has to be cut again in less than a week. I don't recommend it.

Bland is a mediocre Landscaping company. we have had them servicing our community now for three months, and I am extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism. I do not feel they go above and beyond to give high-quality work. However, I guess you get what you pay for.

UPDATE- no response from the email address provided after 3 emails sent providing information. Not sure I was expecting anything different. Bland recently took over our neighborhood and it has been a horrible experience and nothing has been resolved from high grass left un maintained, weeds everywhere, no edging and most of all no response. I have submitted multiple tickets/requests and no response-our yard is one thing we specifically want to look good especially for weekends and entertaining and it is absolutely embarrassing. If your neighborhood is talking to them, run and block it from moving forward. Still absolutely no response for the issues and most of all no resolutions! I have plenty of pictures if needed. We are now on our second week and no contact or resolution. The last few pictures will show

do not let your HOA hire Bland, they do an absolutely awful job. they come irregularly sometimes skipping an entire week or two during the growing season, it's hit or miss on which areas they actually mow, they do a terrible job of trimming if at all, they let the grass grow into the plant beds and then spray it with Roundup killing your plants, they let the commons areas go knee deep, they let the culverts get completely overrun by weeds before spraying them with Roundup, they do not treat the lawns for weeds, they have only fertilized once this year, they mow Bermuda grass at 4 to 5 inch3s, and here it is almost September and they still have not aerated. our neighborhood used to look nice, now it looks like trash.
