We came to Genesis Outdoor Living with a tricky backyard — serious slope, limited access, and a sketch on paper. They turned it into something we couldn’t be happier with. They put in a patio, retaining wall, raised garden beds, and new grass, and did it all without breaking a sweat (at least from our end!). Genesis got creative and figured it out. Dylan, Jack and team were great to work with — they gave us a detailed estimate from the start and kept it updated throughout the project, so we were never left guessing on cost. The best part was just how collaborative the whole experience felt. They really listened, took our idea and ran with it, and the end result is way beyond what we imagined. Highly recommend!

We had Genesis do a back yard techno block paver patio with a small seating wall on one end. We also had them install a fence in our backyard as well as metal edging for all of our beds. We were extremely happy with all of their work. Their attention to detail was great. They are very neat, organized, and did a great clean up job. Dylan and crew always responded and showed up when they said they would! We are very happy we decided to use Genesis Outdoor Living and would highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Genesis Outdoor Living as contractors to build a retaining wall. Our project was a 200’ long, 6’ high, retaining wall, requiring engineered plans, a soil test and a county permit (as well as HOA approval). Dylan’s experience was essential to get this done right. The result was an on-schedule wall build, that 100% met private and county inspectors’ approvals the first time. Dylan’s relationship with the vendors and his team’s certification with the installation of Alan Block’s Classic AB collection retaining wall system produced an absolute excellent result. Dylan is professional in communications, billing, explanations, attention to details, coordination with vendors and inspectors, and logistics sequencing. If you need anything done in hardscaping, please give Dylan and his team at Genesis Outdoor Living your consideration. Absolutely a First-Class professional job from start to finish.

I am so grateful for Dylan, Jack and their team at Genesis Outdoor Living. They were absolute lifesavers when it came to fixing my poorly installed paver patio. The previous contractor had done such a terrible job; leaving me in a difficult situation which necessitated me terminating the paver installation. Genesis was able to correct the many deficiencies which I was left with and create a stunning paver patio. Jack was on site every day to supervise the installers. I must add that Angel and Jose are true artisans when laying pavers, I was stunned by their attention to detail. Dylan and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from start to finish. They took the time to understand my concerns and explain the process clearly. They carefully removed the old pavers, corrected the underlying issues, and installed new pavers with precision. The end result is a beautiful and functional patio that I'm incredibly proud of. The pavers are perfectly aligned, the surface is level, and the overall look is stunning. I'm so impressed with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. I don't frequently write reviews, but when you find a team that is quality you want to spread the word. We were so happy with Dylan and his team from start to finish. We did basically a complete overhaul of our front yard: trees removed, railings replaced, fresh concrete walkway, new retaining wall and sod. The before and after is incredible. They were on time, friendly, had great communication, fair in price and did quality work. Even the smallest details were seen to and any concerns or issues quickly resolved. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and certainly will be calling them back for future projects.
